Creating a EU HUB model we want to contribute to fighting youth unemployment through encouraging youths towards Social Youth Entrepreneurship (SYE).

YOUTH SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP: A NEW OPPORTUNITY IN TIMES OF CRISIS

In these times of economic crisis – which are deeply affecting the younger generation – our project aims at targeting youth unemployment through a more innovative approach. Social Youth Entrepreneurship is a growing field in which the youth might find interesting work opportunities: the HUB model will help create »start-up aggregators« to support the creation of new social enterprises.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES:

DESIGNING A EU HUB MODEL FOR YOUNG SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS

Transnational project meetings: Planning, networking, exchanging experiences for setting up the European HUB model for socially responsible young entrepreneurs. The HUB model will consist of:

– Start-up guidelines;

– European network/community of Young Ambassadors of Social Entrepreneurship;

– HUB promo pack – for the general public.

Short term joint staff training event: for education and training of staff and youth workers active in the field (may be combined with a study visit);

Multiplier event: presentation, visibility and dissemination of the European HUB model for socially responsible young entrepreneurs in form of regional/national seminar or conference;

Local activities:

– Setting up of a pilot HUB (independently or in cooperation with local/regional entities) by using the developed model and organising 8 local activities (workshops, counseling and coaching);

– Organisation of 2 webinars per partner organisation on different topic of their choice, targeting NEETs.
